While forecasts vary, many experts predict that by 2020, 50 billion objects - components, parts and devices - will be connected by the Internet of Things (IoT). As it permeates the world we live in, this vast network of machines is radically changing the way we live, work and play.
Ecosulis works with automated camera traps, which monitor habitats remotely and transmit data automatically. We also use mobile technology, including image recognition, to record information on site, which then gets fed back to teams in our various offices. We have a rapidly growing network of bioacoustic detectors throughout the UK for our monitoring projects. In the future we will be combining these with Near Field Communication tags and QR codes to record and transmit live data.
